DESCRIPTION: ACES serve as peer mentors for incoming students throughout their first year. ACES work on helping, connecting, and supporting freshmen as they make the transition to SUU. ACES are a first friend and advocate for new students. ACES help with retention campaigns across campus including registration campaigns, drop for non-payments campaigns, etc. ACES work for one year and are required to be in Cedar City during the summer to insure they are available to host new students for Personalized Visits.
HOURS: 20 hours per week during the school year, 40 hours per week during
the summer

DESCRIPTION: Executes a large variety of excursions, programs, events, and service projects to support international students and engage/globalize all of SUU.
HOURS: 80 hours per semester

DESCRIPTION: Providing campus tours, hosting students on Red Riot weekends, and visiting high school assisting the Admissions office in the recruitment efforts of SUU.
HOURS: 4 hours per week on average

HOW TO APPLY: Apply for preliminary steps with an interview or a video. If invited to Presidential Ambassador Weekend, you will come to SUU's campus for the final round. Availability on the Ambassador team varies based on spaces available.

DESCRIPTION: Lives in on-campus housing and assists residents, builds community through activities and events, enforces policies, and serves students living on campus.

DESCRIPTION: SAA works to enhance the student experience by providing leadership and involvement opportunities that build and strengthen lifelong loyalty to SUU while helping students become aware of their future role as an SUU alumnus. DESCRIPTION: SUU Outdoors Trip Leaders are students who have a love of the outdoors and helping others experience it. With an emphasis on risk management and group dynamics trip leaders play a pivotal role in bringing the SUU community closer together, engaging with others, exploring the outdoors, and experiencing what it is like to be an #OutsideTBird.
HOURS: 30-ish hours a semester
