Specialized Testing Services offers test proctoring for non-course exams including specialized exams, non-university agencies for licenses and certifications, national tests, Accuplacer Next Generation English, Accuplacer English Remote placement exams, and English 1010E Test Out Exam.

Registration and/or Appointment is required for all testsAccuplacer English Placement Tests for SUU students are available on campus at the SUU Specialized Testing Center (ELC 211-second floor) or off campus at an approved remote university/college or at home using virtual proctoring.

- ACT On-Campus (Multiple Choice only)

- ACT On-Campus has no "Writing" section; Results can be used only at SUU, they are NOT transferable to any other institution.
- NCAA regulations prohibit any student from taking the ACT On-Campus who is or will be involved in NCAA competition.
CLEP (PLA-Prior Learning Assessment) Earn College Credit for life experiences. Two payments are required.

- Before registering with BYU for the FLATS exam, please contact Specialized Testing by email at specialtest@suu.edu or by phone at 435-865-8113 for important registration details.
- Register for the FLATS exam. Registration must be completed prior to coming to the Testing Center to take the exam. After registering with BYU for the FLATS, please be sure to pay the $25.00 SUU proctor fee and bring the receipt with you. Payment for the proctor fee can be made at the link below.
- Remote Online Proctoring is available. Please contact Specialized Testing to arrange details.
