These resources are funded by your student fees, so get your money's worth and visit one, or several, today. From Academic Advising to the Writing Center to psychological counseling, SUU has the resources to ensure you ace that test and stay sane all semester. Get started and check out the comprehensive list below. 

Academic Advising / Student Success Advisors ST 204 Academic guidance/planning (majors, courses, etc.); holistic support for student growth and success.

Assistant Coaches for Excellence & Success (ACES) ST 178 Peer mentors to each first-year student at SUU; provide students with resources, connections, and helpful tips.

Bookstore ST 002 Purchase textbooks, school supplies, and SUU gear.

Canvas Help Desk BB 303 Guides, tutorials, and support information for Faculty, Staff and Students using Canvas and other instructional technologies.

Career Center ST 204 Prepares students to launch successful careers by providing career development and job search services.

Cashier’s Office ST Rotunda Bill payment, tuition payment plans, fee rates, and refunds.

Center for Diversity & Inclusion (CDI) ST 101 Support services, events, & trainings surrounding multicultural, LGBTQ+, undocumented, & other underrepresented students.

Clubs & Student Organizations ST 177 100+ student clubs and organizations for you to join.

Community Engagement Center 417 W 200 S Coordinates community service opportunities and hosts the HOPE Food Pantry that is open M-F, 8am-5pm.

Copy & Post Library Copies, prints, binding, cutting, lamination, and faxing, etc. Buy stamps, money orders, packaging, and rent post office boxes.

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) Offers individual, group, and couples counseling; crisis intervention; career counseling; outreach and consultation.

Dean of Students and Student Conduct ST 201 Responds to student concerns and finds solutions; enforces the student code; encourages responsible citizenship.

Dining Services ST 111A Provides on-campus dining for students & faculty/staff. Includes dining hall, Outtakes, Chick-fil-A, Papa John’s, and more.

Disability Resource Center (DRC) ST 206 GProvides support and services to students with disabilities.

Financial Aid & Scholarships ST 167 Student loans, grants, and scholarship opportunities.

Honors Program LIB 307 A learning community for exceptionally talented, creative, and academically committed students.

International Student & Scholar Services ST 169 Support services designed to promote the academic and social success of international students and scholars.

Leavitt Center ST 112 Provides leadership opportunities, experiential learning, civic education, humanitarian service, and public policy research.

Library Study/social spaces, professional literature in print and digital formats, portal to deep-Web resources, one-on-one help.

Lost & Found LIB 102 Provides a lost and found service for property on campus at the Check Out Desk.

Nest (Student Help Center) ST 178 Walk-in help center to aid students with any and all questions. Stop by or call 435-865-8484.

Non-Traditional Student Services ST 172 Assists non-traditional students in their transition into higher education; Provides support for these students while at SUU.

Orientation & First-Year Experience (FYE) ST 178 Provides students with valuable, personalized attention from the time they commit to SUU until they complete their first year.

Parent and Family Services ST 201 Helping parents, families, and their students connect to resources on campus. Call 435-865-8752 for assistance.

Parking Services Motor Pool Parking permits for vehicles and bicycles. Parking tickets can be paid online or in the Parking Services office.

Registrar’s Office ST 166 Copies of transcripts, registration concerns, student directory listing updates, and graduation questions.

Speech & Presentation Center Speech writing and delivery assistance for students, faculty, staff and community members.

Student Code of Conduct  Access SUU’s Student Code of Conduct on the SUU website.

Student Support Services (SSS) ST 206 Offering tutoring, academic and financial advising, and supplemental math to help with the transition from HS to college.

Study Abroad ST 169 International and national exchange, short-term study abroad, and Global EDGE project opportunities.

SUU Outdoors ST 127 Free outdoor trips and adventures; Rock climbing wall; Ropes Course; Outdoor equipment rentals.

SUU Police Safety, fingerprinting, and engraving of personal items.

SUU Student Association (SUUSA) ST 177 The student government at SUU. They provide students a voice on campus and oversee clubs and organizations.

Title IX BB 111 Supports victims of gender inequality, sexual discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and sexual assault.

Testing Services ELC 208 Exam proctoring for SUU courses, Accuplacer, and specialized tests.

Tutoring Center ELC 204 Walk-in, group, and one-on-one tutoring available in a variety of subjects.

University Housing 250 S 500 W Provides safe, clean, and comfortable housing for students. Helps students make friends and develop life skills.

Veterans Center ST 113 Provides access to educational benefits and services for military-connected students.

Withdrawal Support ST 101 Provides support to students who intend to withdraw from SUU and connects students to proper resources on campus.

Writing Center BC 204 Supports students’ writing endeavors across the curriculum. Tutors are trained to help at all points in the writing process.

SUU Allies
SUU is committed to creating a safe and supportive campus community for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer and ally students on campus. Look for this Allies Sticker on faculty and staff office doors/windows to identify safe spaces where you can visit about issues you would like to discuss.

SUU Care and Support Team (CAST)
Comprised of faculty, staff and administrators who are committed to creating an environment at SUU that supports students who may be struggling with emotional distress and mental health issues.CAST members can be identified by the CAST logo on their office door/ window.
