Miller Faculty Fellows

The purpose of this program is to enlist the support of faculty in identifying student entrepreneurs across campus so that our resources can reach the students who most need support for their businesses or business ideas.

Faculty will receive a $1000 honorarium for two semesters of service. Good candidates for the program are highly engaged with students, such as club advisors. Contact Tyler Stillman for details.

  • The primary responsibility of fellows is to identify individual student entrepreneurs and potential student entrepreneurs in their classes, with the intention of connecting them to entrepreneurship program resources.
  • A secondary responsibility is to promote entrepreneurship events and resources generally to students.
    • Third, we ask faculty fellows to host one entrepreneurial-minded event from the perspective of their discipline. Examples of what might make a good event:
      • Maker space tutorial
      • Design your own logo workshop
      • Design your own phone case workshop
      • Entrepreneurial grant application
    • There is also a monthly meeting

Applications are currently closed and will open Fall 2021.
