SUU Academic Scholarship Guidelines:

• Multi-year awards cannot be combined with any other institutional scholarship.
• Total institutional scholarship awards cannot exceed full tuition. Contact your individual  department for rules regarding department scholarships. 
• Academic scholarships are only available to undergraduate students.

• Scholarship recipients must be degree seeking students with an intent to graduate from Southern  Utah University.
• Non-resident scholarships are only for non-resident students. The gain of  Utah residency, will result in the loss of the non-resident scholarship and will not be considered for a resident scholarship after the use of a non-resident scholarship.

• Non-resident scholarships can be used only for Fall and Spring semesters. With the exception of the Non-resident Presidential scholarship.
• Scholarship recipients must be classified as attending SUU’s Main Campus. If the recipient changes their campus from SUU’s Main Campus, it will result in the loss of the academic scholarship.
• Scholarships are reviewed for renewal at the end of each academic year. SUU does not offer a warning semester to get recipients SUU GPA or passing rate percentage to where it needs to be. 

• Scholarship renewal is based on SUU GPA and SUU passing rate percentage. SUU GPA can be checked on the MySUU Portal under the Degree Works tab.
• Scholarship requirements can be checked on the MySUU Portal under the Financial Aid tab.
