Southern Utah University does not offer student health insurance but does offer a Student Health Clinic on-campus.

Monkeypox Virus
The Monkeypox is a disease caused by the monkeypox virus. Historically, monkeypox caused sporadic localized outbreaks, but its currently circulating throughout the world. The most common symptom of this infection is a rash that can be very severe. Most people in the current outbreak have not needed medical treatment, however, severe infection is possible. The infection is mostly spread by direct skin-to-skin contact. This outbreak is currently limited to certain population with close contact. Most people are not at risk of infection .

Student Health Clinic
In partnership with FourPoints Health, the Student Health Clinic provides free medical care to help students while in school. Current SUU students can receive treatment in the on-campus clinic on a walk-in, first-come first-served basis. The Student Health Clinic is on the first floor of the Bennion Building (Suite 111).
