COBRA
COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) is a federal law allowing workers and their families to temporarily continue employer-sponsored group health insurance for 18–36 months after losing coverage due to job loss, reduction in hours, or other qualifying events. It requires paying the full premium, plus an administrative fee. After a qualifying event you will receive information from HRPro, our COBRA vendor, with more information. COBRA must be elected within 60 days of event.
