Internship Program

internship programThe IIC offers numerous paid internships each season beginning immediately after the spring semester in early May with some internships extending into fall and beyond. This structure provides unique experiences in each location with hands-on training in a variety of fields. Internships are offered in fields such as biology, accounting, wildlife, natural resources, maintenance, engineering, interpretation, recreation, administration and much more.

  • Jobs are generally posted February - April, beginning in May
  • Pay Rate: $15 - $20

  • Dixie National Forest: St. George, Cedar City, Panguitch and Escalante, Utah
  • Kaibab National Forest: Fredonia and Williams, Arizona
  • Fish Lake National Forest: Fillmore, Richfield and Loa, Utah
  • National Park Service: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Great Basin, Cedar Breaks, Pipe Spring, Grand Canyon-Parashant, Grand Staircase-Escalante
  • Bureau of Land Management: St. George, Cedar City and Kanab, Utah
  • U.S. Fish & Wildlife:Various locations throughout United States
  • National Park Service GIS Cohort: Various locations throughout United States
