- 2027 - Southern Utah University Named in 2027 UT Nursing Rankings from RN to MSN.org. SUU earned #7 ranking in RNtoMSN.org's list of the Most Affordable Online RN to MSN Programs in the country. Prospective RN to MSN students have much to consider when researching nursing schools, and cost is often the deciding factor for working nurses. To simplify their search, we manually researched tuition and fees at every school offering an online RN to MSN program in the country. You can find our full methodology on the rankings page, but here is what we factored in:
- Regional accreditation, plus CCNE or ACEN accreditation for the MSN.
- Undergraduate coursework (with maximum credit transfers) plus the shortest MSN track.
- Mandatory per-credit, per-course, and per-semester fees.
- Out-of-state tuition rates, so the price holds regardless of where an RN lives.

Improvements to the advising experience, implemented a portfolio initiative prior to graduation to help students reflect on their educational experiences and get jobs before graduation, and acquired new technology to support student learning.
