Climbing Tower

The Climbing Tower at Southern Utah University is the premier rock climbing wall in southern Utah. Built in 2007 to add a year-round climbing experience for SUU students, faculty, staff, and the community at large.

The climbing wall is 35-ft. tall with the following features:

  • eight belay bars for top-rope climbing or with quickdraws for lead climbing.
    • You must bring your own rope for lead climbing.
  • Crack for practicing all those splitter-cracks in Indian Creek.
  • Multi-pitch ledge for gearing up for those long days heading up the big walls in Zion National Park or Red Cliffs.
