SUU PREP

SUU PREP is a free, three-summer academic adventure hosted by the SUU STEM Center for Teaching and Learning, designed for motivated middle school students who love to explore, create, and solve problems. This immersive program combines in-depth STEM instruction with hands-on challenges that make learning unforgettable.

Students discover the power of problem-solving, logic, and mathematics through cryptography, explore engineering and teamwork in the annual cardboard boat race, and uncover the beauty of math in nature. They will also design real-world solutions, and connect classroom concepts to exciting careers.

At SUU PREP, students gain confidence, curiosity, and a community of peers who share their passion for discovery. The program we encourage all students who are completing 6th, 7th, or 8th grade this academic year to apply.

The application period for SUU PREP 2026 is closed. If you would like to be considered for late admittance, please email stemsummercamps@suu.edu.
