Mission Statement

The SUU Health & Wellness Center strives to promote holistic health and well-being of students through comprehensive, programming, peer to peer support, and preventative education. We share up-to-date, accurate, useful, health information and offer support regarding their own or someone else’s health and well-being.

Vision Statement

The Health & Wellness Center seeks to engage students by informing and connecting them to resources available on campus and in their community. Through prevention efforts that inform, increase awareness, and educate the student body. The Health & Wellness Center seeks to positively impact the university environment by promoting healthy lifestyles through evidence-based social norm approaches and environmental strategies.

 

Upcoming Events in February

 February 1 - QPR training in the Cedar Breaks Room - 11 - 12:30 

February 13 - A Rose for your Bud - Meet outside Health & Wellness to hand out roses to the ones you love, 12 - 1:30.

February 13 - 17 - Sex Ed Campaign - Get to know the available resources around you. 

February 21 - Bi-Tapp Presentation - Meet in the Student Center Living Room from 11 - 1:00 to get to better understanding of the Bi-Tapps and what they can offer you. 

February 22 - Substance Misuse Event/ Spring Break Pledge - With Spring Break around the corner students can give their pledge for safety while on spring break. Event will be held outside Health & Wellness from 11 - 1:00. 

February 22 - Mental Health Presentation - Partnered with TRIO, meeting in the Brian Head Room 3 - 5:00.

February 23 - Health Fair - Have the opportunity to discuss healthy and safe relationships, held in the Ballroom 9 - 12:00.

February 23 - Staff and Faculty Family Week - Partnered with SUU Outdoors, meeting in the Escalante Room from 12 - 1:00.
