A Very SUMA Holiday is an annual event that celebrates the spirit of the holiday season with festive programs, charitable giving opportunities, and seasonal merchandise. 


SUMA Wish Tree 

The SUMA Gift Shop Wish Tree features fair trade ornaments and decorations made from around the world as well as donation requests to benefit the Iron County Care & Share



Special Events & Programming 

Small Business Saturday

Saturday, Nov. 24, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Join us for a sales event part of Shop ART Saturday and receive a mystery discount in the SUMA Gift Shop worth 10 - 25% off your total purchase. This is the first time the special seasonal merchandise will be available in the gift shop. 

There will also be a make-and-take activity in the SUMA Classroom from 2 - 4 p.m. 


National Cookie Day

Tuesday, Dec. 4, noon - 4 p.m. 

SUU Students, participate in a gingerbread house building competition! First prize will awarded a $20 gift certificate to the SUMA Gift Shop. 


Family Day

Saturday, Dec. 8, 2 - 4 p.m. 

Join us for a special holiday-themed Family Day in partnership with artsFUSION. Stop by any time from 2 - 4 p.m. to create a make-and-take activity in the classroom. Family Day is free and open to public thanks to Zions Bank.


Winter Solstice Celebration

Friday, Dec. 21, 4 - 8 p.m.

Join us in celebration of the shortest day of the year with a late night at SUMA. The celebration will feature free food, music, and activities for all ages. All SUMA Gift Shop seasonal merchandise will be 25% off during the event. 

This event is free and open to the public. 


Create Play Date

Wednesday, Dec. 26, 11 a.m. 

Our final Create Play Date of the year will have a special holiday theme. Join us for a story and activity sure to delight preschool-aged (3 - 5) children!
