Members Matter!
Become a Friends of SUMA member today and help bring special exhibitions, regional and national artists, and new acquisitions to the Southern Utah Museum of Art! Your membership dues benefit the campus and community by creating a place of inspiration, creativity, and learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are a resident of Iron County or a seasonal visitor, your membership matters!

Membership Levels

Friend + Guest: $50 | SUU Faculty/Staff: $25

• Friends of SUMA membership card
• Free admission to over 50 participating institutions in the College and University Art Museum (CUAM) reciprocal program
• 20% discount at the SUMA Shop, with special member offers throughout the year
• Email subscription to Museum Insider, SUMA’s official newsletter featuring upcoming exhibitions and programs, information on recent gifts and acquisitions, and more
• Advance notice and discounts for ticketed events and camps
• Invitations to exhibition openings and special events
• Recognition on SUMA’s website and in the Annual Art Auction program
• $2 off tickets to Mainstage and Masterworks performances through the SUU College of Performing & Visual Arts

SUMA Families: $75

All of the Friend + Guest benefits, plus:

• Annual art-themed subscription box curated with kids and families in mind
• Quarterly eNewsletters just for SUMA Families.
• Early registration and special discounts for art camps
• Take-home activities available at the museum during each exhibition
• Exclusive art nights just for SUMA Families

Associate: $100 

All of the Friend + Guest benefits, plus:

• Reciprocal privileges including free or reduced admission to over 1,300 participating institutions in North America through the North American Reciprocal Museums (NARM) association
• 25% discount off gifted SUMA memberships
• $10 off per ticket at the Utah Shakespeare Festival

Supporter: $250

All of the Associate benefits, plus:

• Quarterly exclusive Supporter-level events
• Public recognition in the museum gallery space

Patron: $500

All of the Supporter benefits, plus:

• Invitation to the annual Patron’s reception held in conjunction with the Utah Shakespeare Festival
• Free printed exhibition catalogs

Collector: $1,000

All of the Patron benefits, plus:

• Advance notice and registration for the annual Director’s Trip
• $250 of your donation goes toward SUMA’s Acquisition Fund
• Invitation to the annual SUU President’s Gala

Membership Add-ons

Add the SUMA Families membership benefits to any level for just $25!  

Membership cards will be mailed within 2 weeks of the receipt of your donation.  Present this card at the museum for your 20% discount in the SUMA Shop. For those donating at the Associate level or above, look for your gold NARM sticker on the back of your card. This must be presented at participating institutions for free or reduced admission. Please call the museum in advance to see how many people your NARM membership will admit.

Please note that memberships are valid for one year from the month you join or renew. Your membership will expire at the end of the month the following year. (Ex: Join on January 1, 2025 and expire January 31, 2026)
