Why Become an Involvement Captain?

The Involvement Captain Program is a personalized leadership development experience. This program allows students to help many campus organizations with events and initiatives while also meeting so many great people, and building their leadership skills. In the Involvement Captain Program, students are able to customize their experience with student directors to learn and develop in the ways they would like to, including: leadership/professional development, social skills, making new friends, helping with events, building your resume, and so many other fun, rewarding experiences.

What are the Expectations?

As an Involvement Captain, you will be expected to:

  • Provide at least 3* hours of service per week
  • Maintain a semester GPA of 2.5*
  • Attend Involvement Captain weekly meetings
  • Report your hours via Google Form each Monday
  • Commit to one semester or a full school year of involvement

*If you are unable to meet the required service hours or GPA, please talk with the student directors and we will work together to find a solution.

How Can I Apply?

Stop by the Student Involvement and Leadership Office (ST 177) to pick up an application and return completed applications. You can also complete an online application. For additional questions and information, please email, call 435-865-8557, or visit ST 177 to meet with a student director.
