How to Start a Club

First, you will need to read over the club handbook as it will answer a majority of your questions then you will need the following:

Once you have all of the above you're ready to register your organization on T-Bird Connection, after which the Club Committee will review the form and either deny or approve your club!

Re-Registration

Re-Registration is done by having the former president go to T-Bird Connection and clicking on the Organizations tab then the Register a New Organizations tab. From there you should be able to see the re-register an existing organization. It is your job as the Club President to fill out this form with the New Club President and to make sure they are adequately made aware of how things are done with your club.

What you need to do

  • You will need to edit the roster so that only current and returning members are kept on the roster and remove the rest (T-Bird Connection)
  • You will need to make sure that the new club officers are given their positions on Tbird Connection so that they can adequately perform their duties.
  • Change the primary contact to the New President
  • Edit the Club Constitution so that it reflects any new changes the club members wish to implement for the new year

*Failure to do the above may result in freezing your club and losing out on Club benefits for the upcoming year
