Academic Support Beyond the Classroom
Writing Center
Writing academic research papers in a second language can feel overwhelming. If you want a helpful touchpoint outside of your regular classes, you can book a free 30-minute or 60-minute session at the Writing Center inside the Braithwaite Center (BC 101).
Meet one-on-one with talented undergraduate and graduate tutors who specialize in breaking down complex assignments.
Receive personal feedback on how to organize your written thoughts, fix your grammar accuracy, and expand your academic vocabulary.

Public Speaking Center
Overcoming public speaking anxiety is one of the greatest keys to college success. Located in BC 204 , the Public Speaking Center helps students, faculty, and staff perfect their oral communication and presentation style.

VR/AR Innovation Studio
Stepping onto a tech-forward campus means getting to use cutting-edge learning tools outside of standard textbooks. Located in the Tech Hall (TH 106B) , the VR/AR Innovation Studio provides all students, faculty, and staff with hands-on access to emerging immersive technologies.
Put on virtual reality headsets to practice your debates, presentations, and speeches in front of life-like virtual audiences before doing them in class.
Use interactive virtual scenarios to practice real-time conversations, campus interactions, and pronunciation in a comfortable, private setting.
