Recent Honors Program Graduates
The SUU Honors Program provides an interdisciplinary academic experience for motivated learners to enhance their education through innovative curriculum and involvement in a community incorporating SUU’s best faculty members and students.
To graduate from the SUU Honors Program, students must complete a minimum of 21 honors credits, complete a honors capstone project, and graduate with an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Honors credits can be earned by completing an honors section of a general education course, by completing an honors specific course, or by completing an honors contract in conjunction with a regular SUU course.
The honors capstone project may be completed as an honors thesis or as an honors capstone within a major. All capstone projects are then presented at least one academic conference.
Graduating with university honors takes a lot of time and effort. We congratulate all of our graduates on achieving this substantial accomplishment and wish them the best in their post-graduation endeavors.
