General Education Overseas (GEO)

The General Education Overseas (GEO) program provides incoming and current SUU students the opportunity to earn General Education course credits while studying abroad for a significant portion of the Fall 2022 semester.

In Fall 2022, the inaugural year of this unique program, four SUU professors will accompany 20 students as they travel and learn in multiple countries. GEO students will begin their study with a week in Dublin, then move on for a week in Barcelona, two weeks in Paris, and two weeks in London. In addition to learning about literature, music, and psychology, GEO students will experience first-hand the cultures and customs of four European countries. More importantly, students will learn a lot about themselves–their strengths and weaknesses, their biases, their values–as they gain confidence as world travelers.

APPLY NOW! Application for GEO 2022 will be open until January 15, 2022. Selection of students will be finalized by February 1.
