Wind Symphony

Wind Symphony:

The SUU Wind Symphony is an auditioned ensemble made up of the top wind and percussion students at SUU. The ensemble is committed to the performance of the highest quality contemporary and traditional works in the wind band repertoire. Innovative concerts, adventurous programming, and high-level music-making are the hallmarks of this select ensemble. This group is open to students of any major by audition.

Cedar City Community Band (CCCB):

The CCCB is a community concert band available to all without audition. This group rehearses once a week (Wednesday evenings) from 7 - 9 pm. This group is committed to performing fun and exciting concert band repertoire. One concert per term is performed.

SUU Brass Ensemble:

The SUU Brass Ensemble is open to all students by audition. Students perform classic brass ensemble literature as well as more modern jazz and pop - style music. Performances often include recitals in the St. George Tabernacle (St. George, Utah) and appearances throughout the area.
