Address Update

United States immigration law requires all foreign students in the United States to notify the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within 10 days of any change in living address. DHS will enforce this requirement. The penalty for failure to report a change in address can be severe and is defined by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services.

New international students will be able to update their address with International Student & Scholar Services during International Student Check-In.

Continuing students and students authorized for Optional Practical Training or Post-Completion Academic Training are able to update their address through the My SUU Portal. Within 21 days of the student’s notification, International Student & Scholar Services will update the student’s record in SEVIS.

Students are also welcome to change their address in person by visiting International Student & Scholar Services.
