Graduate Aid - Scholarships & Tuition Waivers

Many of SUU's Masters programs offer scholarships and tuition waivers to make the school's graduate degrees even more affordable. Each program individually decides on waiver and scholarship availability, and awards may vary depending on need and semester. Please review the individual program pages below for further information.

International Students

International students who attend on the Cedar City campus full time, and pay non-resident tuition, may apply for a tuition waiver. Please contact the International Student Services Office for further details.

Non-Resident Graduate Student Waiver

Incoming and transfer non-resident graduate students who possessed a 3.2 GPA or higher in their undergraduate/past graduate experience can apply for a 100% differential waiver, bringing their tuition costs down to in-state rates. Please contact the financial aid office for more information.

Master of Accounting

Partial tuition waivers are available on a limited basis. Recipients will be selected by committee. Students must be enrolled full time (9 or more credits) and must complete the program's application.

Master of Fine Arts in Arts Administration

All students who are admitted to the MFA in Arts Administration will receive a quarter to half tuition waiver . In addition, out-of-state students whose undergraduate GPAs were above 3.2 will be considered for a scholarship which reduces their tuition to in-state levels. Waivers and scholarships are not available to students in the online Masters of Arts in Arts Administration track.

Master of Business Administration

Partial tuition waivers are available on a limited basis. Recipients will be selected by committee. Students must be enrolled full time (9 or more credits) and must complete the program's application.

Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credits, must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, and must complete a request for assistance letter.
